Fast Fiction Info Sheets

Fast Fiction info sheets were double-side A4 pamphlets produced in London every two months, to coincide with the Westminster Comic Marts, where they would be handed out for free. They were written and produced by Paul Gravett and Phil Elliott; Peter Stanbury had a hand in the design. Later sheets were written and produced by Ed Pinsent (starting with #32 in 1986). They listed all the new small press comics and zines available, with prices and addresses of the creators. Later, when the Fast Fiction service was consolidated, the info sheet would serve as a listing and mail order form combined.

The sheets were always illustrated with covers or details from the comics, with the info text hand-lettered or written on a typewriter. For later editions, the text was produced on an Amstrad computer. Scans here are from EP’s collection, which starts in 1982 with #7.
